The breeze blew lightly over the surrounding area of a leafy green field, the blades of grass dancing lithely in the currents. The field itself seemed alive and rigid with excitement. There were several spectators who had been informed of this battle, including Hyuuga Hiashi, who were present and eagerly awaiting the arrival of both competitors, one of which, made his entrance now.
Nonchalant and gallant as ever, Hyuuga Neji matierialized from the trees, his milky, lavender hues sweeping over the present spectators and lighting on Hiashi for a moment. With a smile and a gracious cant of his head he acknowledge the Clan Leader's presence, who replied with a simliar gesture and Neji took his position in the field. He performed no stretches and did no warm-ups. He flexed no muscles and batted no eyelash. He simply stood, his right hand tucked neatly into the folds of his Kimono, waiting. Finally, the Sharingan would be weighed against the Byakugan, the two Doujutsu Kekkai Genkai boasting quite a match. Neji was well aware of Uchiha Sasuke's newest addition to his arsenal, the Curse Seal and the Chidori, often in combination, and such a technique worried him. He did not know if he was going to emerge victorious from this battle, but he knew he would have fun during it. He withdrew a Kunai from his Kimono with his right hand and simply began twirling it, waiting for Uchiha Sasuke to show himself and the battle to begin....
