It was just another average day in Konahagakure No Sato. Well, as average as it gets for ninjas. Out on a practice field about a block from the Ninja Academy, two of Konaha's ninja, the S-Rank Jonin known as the "Dragon Of Ice", Zutakateku Zumoto, and the C-Rank Chuunin Zutakateku Rinkika, Zumoto's daughter, were training. Zumoto stood in his Goju Ryu stance while Rinkika, 10 yards away, was holding a naginata.
"Any time you're ready, Rinkika-kun," said Zumoto. "You're going down this time, old man," Rinkika exclaimed. "The first move is yours," said Zumoto.
Rinkika charged with the naginata and swung at Zumoto's legs. Zumoto jumped over the sweep strike and Rinkika swung upward with the blunt end of the weapon! Zumoto saw the strike coming and changed direction, avoiding the second strike. Rinkika then swung an upward, circular strike with the bladed edge. Zumoto got back on solid ground, then ducked under the third strike! Zumoto countered with a spinning left backhand and Rinkika blocked the strike with the naginata. Zumoto kept swinging with backhands from right to left and Rinkika kept blocking. Zumoto faked a left backhand with a sweepkick, but Rinkika dug the blade end into the ground and jumped over it! Then Rinkika went in for an overhead strike and Zumoto spun around it and kicked Rinkika in the back, sending her tumbling to the ground!
"Sure you don't want to give up?" Zumoto asked. "Give up this! Katon: Ryuka No Jutsu (Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique)," Rinkika exclaimed.
A massive fireball erupted from Rinkika's lips, headed right for Zumoto! Zumoto stood there for a moment.
"Crafty Monkey climbing tree," Zumoto exclaimed.
Zumoto jumped over the fireball, then started moving erratically like a monkey! Rinkika kept trying to hit Zumoto with fireballs, but missed as Zumoto dodged! Zumoto got behind Rinkika and hit her in the back with a haymaker, sending her flying across the practice field and to the ground! Zumoto jumped into the air and stood over Rinkika with his fists at the ready!
"All right, all right, you win," Rinkika exclaimed. "You said you'd go easy on me!"
Zumoto took a step back and offered to help Rinkika up. Rinkika took her father's hand and helped her up.
"I did go easy on you," said Zumoto. "You've been slacking in your training, Rinkika-kun." "I've been trying to get back to where I was before the Chuunin exams, but I can't concentrate," said Rinkika. "You should try..." said Zumoto. "No! I'm not doing Tai Chi! I'm perfectly relaxed! I couldn't be more relaxed if I tried," Rinkika exclaimed. "Fine, you're right, I'm wrong. I'm just a dope of a Jonin, after all," said Zumoto sarcastically.
Rinkika picked up her naginata and stood in her position again.
"I wanna go again," said Rinkika. "Again? I've already beaten you in your Tiger style once, Leopard style twice and Naginatajutsu seven times," said Zumoto.
Rinkika threw the naginata to the side.
"Then I'll fight you in Shorin-Ryu," said Rinkika. "This time, you can't use any other style except Jeet Kune Do." "Ooh, that's a low blow. Five yards for unsportsmanlike conduct," said Zumoto. "But very well."
Zumoto stood at his Jeet Kune Do stance as Rinkika assumed her Shorin-Ryu stance. The two weren't aware they were being watched from close by.
((Someone else is welcome to jump in.))

*srry for my short post, i got to post to everyone else so i cant always get a long one in but i will i promise*
Wind unmarred by the towering trees of Konoha’s forest swept through like water flooding through a river, squeezing between every nook and cranny so both fauna and human were coated with an eerie chill. Thick and brazen as the trees were, they were still called to dance with the wild breeze that shook through the canopy, ringing the feeble leaves like tiny bells, rumbling them ferociously till they reached their highest crescendo, before the wind dissipated and the forest in its entirety was silent. Perfect. The man stood on the branch of the tallest tree, chakra emanating from his sandals so balance could be maintained. Zaki stood motionless, with the exception of the extra cloth that hung from his body, which fluttered in the quiet breeze. His sharingan gleamed like two ruby stones, staring between the gaps in the leaves to where Konohagakure sat, capturing the village within his eyes like a fossil to be imprisoned eternally. He had traveled for so long, and endured so much, just to be back at this place. This place, where he found his beginning, was given so much, and then ripped into pieces. Yes, this place. He stood up straight, resting one hand on the bark of the tree, leaning gently against its sturdy body. And to think, that in a few minutes, he would return to that place, the place where his fate was decided, so that he could defeat his own purpose.
The three tear shaped dots around his pupil dilated as he glanced up to the sun, which was burning a deep yellow; it would be descending beneath the horizon soon, just enough time for him to enter. He ripped his gaze from the blood stained sky so that he could behold his home again. Home… this was no home. His hand backed off from the tree, falling to his side. The moment seemed surreal, but it was not, as he had to remind himself. Whatever he wanted in life, he would accomplish, because he would stop at nothing. He was nobody’s puppet, he was his own person, an avenger with a half life. Satisfied, his brows furrowed, skin between his eyes wrinkling in hate. A huge gust of wind consumed him, his ebon bangs rustling, falling before his face in the absence of his Hiten Ate, which was meant to keep his hair pulled back. And, as quickly at the gust had come, it vanished, along with Zaki.
The wind reappeared beside Konoha’s gates, the man kneeling on the ground. He slowly stood, facing the wall. So many memories were locked behind this fortress, all worth revisiting in his quest to fulfill himself. The plan was being set in motion, but now for the hardest part. Zaki turned, glaring at the gates that lead into the village, staring with such intensity that it would seem his Sharingan would all but incinerate the doors off their frames. Slowly, one leg pushed forward, twigs crackling beneath his feet as the other followed, until his body was in motion towards the gates. This time, he would seek to reach his goal until the very end, even if it meant falling off the precipice of his mind and leaving his morals behind. He finally reached the door, his heart pounding in his chest. Nervous? Not at all, he was merely anxious. He brought both his hands to his shoulders, pulling a piece of white cloth over his head, acting like a hood so the shadow overcastted his face so his features were not easily seen. He knew that once his appearance was made in the village, the news would spread like wildfire. He also knew that he was guaranteed to be spotted, since he was still at large. But the inevitable was inescapable, and there was just no other way to reach Naruto. He pushed the gates open, the rusty hinges howling as the mighty doors strained to open. Zaki walked in, pushing the gates closed behind him. His eyes looked out through the dirt paths . It was practically barren, since it was becoming late and the day was dieing. He was sure, though, that Naruto -along with many of the village's other ninja- were not yer asleep. He let out a short sigh, beginning to walk, as sounds of battle neared.

"The first move is yours," said Zumoto.
Rinkika made another charge for Zumoto. Rinkika slipped off a smokebomb from her foot and it exploded, causing a large cloud of smoke to emerge!
"A smoke bomb! She's really going all-out this time around," Zumoto thought. "Now then, where are you?"
Zumoto closed his eyes and seemed to trace the area with his eyes. Rinkika aimed to take a punch from Zumoto's rear! Zumoto threw a punch of his own, but Rinkika became a log!
"A Kawarimi (Substutiuon) Jutsu?" Zumoto exclaimed.
Zumoto turned around to see Rinkika going for a strike again! Zumoto swept at her with a massive kick and Rinkika disappeared!
"Now a Bunshin (Clone) Jutsu?! She's really going all-out," Zumoto thought.
The log turned back into Rinkika and she kicked Zumoto into the air, sending him flying!!
"She didn't use a Kawarimi! She used a Henge (Transformation) Jutsu! I can't believe I didn't see that! I must be slipping in my old age," Zumoto thought.
Rinkika jumped up after Zumoto. Rinkika looked to boot Zumoto in the stomach, but Zumoto disappeared!
"Where'd he go?" Rinkika exclaimed. "Up here," Zumoto exclaimed.
Zumoto grabbed Rinkika by the arm and threw her to the ground! Zumoto stood over Rinkika.
"I win," said Zumoto. "No fair, old man! I had you," Rinkika exclaimed. "Ha ha, I'll admit, you were most clever," said Zumoto. "You're improving quite well."
Overhead, a hawk dropped a scroll over Zumoto's head. The scroll hit Zumoto in the head and Rinkika caught it.
"What is that?" Zumoto asked. "I don't know, but it's for you," Rinkika replied. "Hm. I get mail other than bills?" said Zumoto jokingly.
Rinkika laughed Zumoto opened the scroll. It was from his father, Damashi, in Kirigakure No Sato!
"Father?" Zumoto asked. "What are you talking about?" Rinkika asked. "Na-nothing. Nothing at all," said Zumoto.
Zumoto read through the letter. It read:
"Dear Zumoto-kun, how are you? I am doing well, thankfully.
You are probably wondering why on this, the 30th anniversary of the murders of Usagi, Shujinko and Li Mei. The last 30 years have been difficult to us in Kirigakure and I'm sure they have been no easier for you. News of your achievements has finally reached us here. I am grateful that my son has taken revenge on behalf of our clan. I also have heard of the unfortunate events with your betrothed. I wish I could have met my former daughter-in-law, but it seems the Gods had other ideas.
However, this letter is not to make idle chit-chat. This is a matter of our clan. As you know, I have recently turned 65. And you haven't sent me one birthday present in ten years! What kind of son are you?! Ha ha ha, I kid. Anyway, the laws of the clan, first set down by our ancestor Iroh, dictate that once the clan headmember is the age of 65, he is to have his eldest child or the eldest surviving child face him or her in a fight for the headship of the clan. And Zumoto, I must fight you, my son. You are required to return to Kirigakure No Sato to battle me and upon your victory assume headship of the Zutakateku clan. You are to leave immediately. And please, bring your daughter, Rinkika, with you. I would very much love to meet my firstborn grandchild.
However, be cautious. Your daughter is not to bring any weapons or wear her hitai-ate or anything else that would distinguish her as a member of Konahagakure No Sato. Konaha and Kiri are not on the greatest terms. However, if she is to bring anything that would distinguish her, she is to hide it.
I await your arrival.
Zutakateku Damashi"
Zumoto rolled up the scroll and tucked it under his arm.
"Rinkika-kun, let's go," said Zumoto. "Wait, what? What's going on?" Rinkika asked. "You know how you're always asking to see Kirigakure and meet your grandfather?" Zumoto asked back. "Yes," Rinkika replied. "Well you're finally getting your wish," Zumoto replied. "You mean..." Rinkika started. "Damashi, your grandfather, has declared one of the clan's last laws; the Law of Succession," said Zumoto. "What does that mean?" Rinkika asked. "Your grandfather and I are to have a fight. If I defeat him, I will assume the headship of the clan," said Zumoto. "No sweat! I bet grandpa's old and weak," said Rinkika.
Zumoto slapped Rinkika across the jaw.
"Insolent child! Your grandfather is more powerful than you can imagine," said Zumoto. "All right, all right! Sheesh, sorry," said Rinkika. "I am sorry too. I shouldn't have done what I did," said Zumoto. "Okay. Well, let's get packing," said Rinkika. "Wait. It's not going to be that easy," said Zumoto. "Konaha and Kiri are not on friendly terms. If they see you with anything that will identify you as a Konaha ninja, there's a possibility they could think of you as a threat to the Mizukage and kill you on sight."
Rinkika gulped nervously.
"Leave your hitai-ate, body glove, weapons and any other distinguishable ninja items. It's for the best," said Zumoto. "We leave tomorrow for Kirigakure." "Wait, what about training?" Rinkika asked. "We will cut today's practice session short today. This is more important than training; this is a matter of the clan," Zumoto replied.
The two left the practice field.
